Mitch Cutter
Salmon & Steelhead Associate, Idaho Conservation League
Mitch Cutter works for the Idaho Conservation League (ICL) in Boise, Idaho. Since 1973, ICL has been Idaho's leading voice for conservation, protecting the state's air, water, lands, and wildlife. Mitch creates compelling arguments demonstrating that current trends in economics and Northwest energy markets create an opportunity to save salmon and steelhead, harness market forces to address regional energy and agricultural needs, and support local economies in Idaho, Oregon and Washington. This multidisciplinary work is done in concert with other non-profit groups, recreationists, and indigenous Tribes across the region. Mitch previously worked as a management consultant in the energy field, and received his B.A in Biology from Whitman College.
