Senior Fellow, Center for International Law and Governance, Fletcher Graduate School of Global Affairs, Tufts University

I am currently a Senior Fellow at the Fletcher School’s Centre for International Law and Governance (Tufts University), which leverages expertise for sustainable and pragmatic solutions to global challenges. My current work is focused on the net-zero transition and its implications, specifically for energy and materials, the evolving global and regional governance systems, and geopolitics. I also help companies, governments, and organizations understand and navigate the parts of the multilateral system that are relevant to them, usually to seize an opportunity, leverage a new technology, or solve an emerging problem. I sit on the executive board of the Global Governance Forum and the advisory board of the Cambrian Futures Group. I draw on twenty-five years of experience across four continents including as Secretary-General of the Bahá’í International Community, Chief of Staff to the Head of UNOG/Conference on Disarmament in Geneva, and Senior Officer in the cabinet of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in New York. In addition to earlier conflict resolution work in Africa, I was a researcher for various universities, think tanks and institutions.
