Head of US, Signatory Relations, UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)
Carol Jeppesen is the Head of US, Signatory Relations for the UN supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) where she is responsible for PRI’s largest institutional investor market. Carol works closely with ESG teams, Chief Investment Officers, Investment Boards and Trustees at many of the world’s largest and most influential investors to guide them on the development of their ESG and sustainable investing programs. PRI is recognized as the leading global initiative for investors committed to integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into investment decision making and stewardship activities and today represents over 5,000 investor signatories, globally, collectively managing over $121 trillion, more than half of the world’s investable assets. Carol has more than 20 years of experience in financial services at firms including Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs and holds degrees in Finance and Economics from Boston University, an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and was an inaugural delegate of the Sustainability Leadership Forum at Yale University. She also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation and the CFA Institute ESG Investing Credential.
