Kristin’s understanding and love affair with the food system started as a teen as a farmer with the Peconic Land Trust. Guided by her new passion, she moved to the jungles of Belize to support the development of organic farms, and later as a volunteer on a biodynamic farm in New Zealand. No matter where she was in the world, it was the interconnection of people, the land, and food that gave meaning to each place.
