Eirich, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist, biologist, writer and “practical visionary,” blending nature and human psychology into eco-psychology and spiritual ecology. She founded Earthfire Institute Wildlife Sanctuary & Retreat Center in 2000 to serve as a global model for wildlife and land preservation by offering actionable ways to heal our relationship to nature and ourselves. Located near the Grand Teton National Park in Idaho, Susan lives with animals in the Sanctuary throughout their lifetimes, experiencing astounding insights and bringing their voices into our awareness and conservation decisions.
