Lisa Wing, RN, BSN works as a nurse leader in the emergency department at New York City Health and Hospitals/Bellevue. Founded in 1736, Bellevue Hospital is the oldest public hospital in the United States. Bellevue is a Safety Net Hospital, a Level 1 Pediatric and Adult Trauma Center and a Regional Ebola and Other Special Pathogens Receiving and Treatment center. Bellevue cares for a diverse population from all around the world. For over 30-years, Lisa has committed herself to providing compassionate care for the most underserved and diverse patient populations in New York City. And during some of our world’s most traumatic times, Lisa continued to provide care for her patients during the AIDS epidemic, 9-11, hurricane Sandy and most recently, the Covid-19 pandemic.

In addition to working as a nurse, Lisa consults on movie and television shows. Most recently, serving as medical technical advisor on the hit TV series New Amsterdam.

Lisa enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys the outdoors and is currently completing her Masters in Nursing Education so she can impart her vast knowledge to the next generation of registered nurses.
