He is a Contributing Editor at Rolling Stone and a Fellow at New America, as well as the author of five previous books. How to Cool the Planet: Geoengineering and the Audacious Quest to Fix Earth’s Climate won the 2011 Grantham Prize Award of Special Merit, one of the highest awards in environmental journalism.
